Summer Reading Program

The Summer Learning Program will not be provided this summer at Model Creek School. We are replacing the Summer Learning Program with a Summer Reading Program that will be completed at home. Many of our students love to read, especially at home, but some students need additional experience and practice reading at home.

Our goal is to provide the books for students to practice leveled reading at home. Each student will receive a complete set of high interest leveled reading books encased in a bright green book sack. Each book has an Accelerated Reading Grade Level.

Current research indicates the more you read the more you learn. We're providing the books; parents are responsible for providing a time and quite place for your children to read. Always encourage your children to read, read, read! It does make a difference.
